5. VectorSeek

Vector-based semantic search for WordPress where you connect your own AI provider. More of a building block than a turnkey store search – interesting for developers who want control over the embedding pipeline.

6. WP Engine Smart Search

If you host on WP Engine, their AI Toolkit includes Smart Search with semantic capabilities, integrated at the platform level. Excellent if you are already on WP Engine; not an option if you are not.

What about FiboSearch, SearchWP and Relevanssi?

They are the keyword-search stalwarts – mature, popular, and genuinely good at what they do (FiboSearch’s instant dropdown, SearchWP’s and Relevanssi’s relevance tuning).
